Sketch and Ideas

.I chose to make this tea bag plate because I love to drink tea. I currently don’t have one of these because I don’t like the ones I’ve seen. Tea bag holders are usually very plain and are shaped like teapots. I have an example in my sketches

It’s challenging to get the plate to curve the way I want to.

Final:

I added a decal to the wings using a png that I found online. This part makes the wings appear to be more intricate. I used some engraving techniques II learned from tutorials to make it appear that the owl has wings and a beak. The eyes were made using the sculpt tool.

First form

This the first form I’ve ever created. I am very proud of this even though I know if I were to redo it right now It would look a lot better. The key to this one was sketching it the right way and then using planes to create lofts for the spout and the handle.
